ok got poked twice today again. friend missed the first jab, so i gotta bite my lip and endure the second. Thank goodness he got my vein the second time.....
think there's gonna be a bruise tomorrow on my left arm.... sheesh, i've got so many holes in my arms now, think i look like a junky in a cop's eyes! next week they're gonna increase the size of the needle!!! arghh!!! the bigger needle (16G) is the size of a Yakult straw..... imagine that poked into your arm. ARGHHH!!!!!

2 more weeks before i'm posted to a fire station. can't wait.....

dammit, gotta take my bike prac lesson 2 again..... the instructor said i'm too slow on the 'figure of 8' course.... sheesh.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR PEEPS!

woke up early cuz my relatives from my mum's side were visiting.
damn, have all my 'kiddie' cousins grow up! i mean, they use to flick to Cartoon Network the first thing they stepped in, but now they're watching Discovery Channel! Too bad none of them are into MTV, but ESPN suits all the guys fine, got soccer mah. =)

was talking to one of my aunties, and she was telling me what her primary 4 son was doing in school. I must say i'm pretty shock to hear that they're learning Microsoft Office! what the heck!!! i mean, i was thought that when i was in POLY. sheesh!!!
I mean, issit necessary to stress a kid that young to learn stuff like that? damn, maybe i'm just too back-dated, but when i was in Primary 4, i was playing marbles and catching spiders for goodness sake..... my oh my, times have really changed.

caught THE LAST SAMURAI with my sweetie in the evening, and DAMNNNNN
that show is excellent..... go catch it and let the show speak for itself, nuff said.

how's the ang bao collection? hope it's been a good one for you guys. =)
better treasure these days of collection cuz in afew years time, you'll be the one giving, not receiving. hmm, so the question of the day is.......

ok, got dripped twice yesterday, was a bloody experience, literally.....
it's part of our training and we've gotta get dripped and drip once every week. ouch!
uh huh, i think after my training, i'll be fearless to needles liao. i've been jabbed like 1000 times, now i'm gonna be dripped like abt another 1000 times.....
will get immune to the pain, hee.... but my poor veins..... got some bruises (haematoma) and swelling.... sheesh.

it sucks to know that you have to train on saturdays.....
wanna do my CNY shopping later.... i haven't shopped in ages.....
hehe, i can't believe i'm saying this.....

oh well.......

ok don't really have much time blogging ever since i've started my training.
or it's just because i'm too tired to do it...... wait a minute, i'm just plain lazy, nuff said.

training is a bore. feel like a bloody recruit again. the SAF nsf medics i'm doing the course with are all so young. i feel like 'big brudder' to all of them. but they're a nice bunch. the only difference is, they get all the punishment and they stay in. bad enough.

had a practical test today on some of the medical equipments we will use. it's bloody nonsense. why would i want to know the different parts of the equipments for? sheesh. think they running out of stuff to teach..... tomorrow's lesson plan will be on bandanging. any volunteers? mummy style, baby! i'm gonna dread this thursday, cuz there's I/V (drip) practical. we're suppose to 'drip' each other using the biggest needle there is to drip. and we've gotta do 10 successful tries on each other!!!!!

i'm taking up riding again. this time, i'm gonna complete the bloody thing, no matter who says what. First practical starts tomorrow at SSDC. man, just love the wind in my face. sigh, failed my Advanced Theory for the fifth time. Guess i need to start lessons to understand driving more..... or maybe i'm just unlucky. Starting to see a Big 'L' on my forehead.

just got back from Wakeboarding, my first time ever.....

S H O I K S

managed to stand up on my 3rd try. According to Laurine and Robert, the boat guy, they said i picked it up super fast. the new birds will take a whole day and still not stand up. I did it on my 3rd try! Ahh, some sense of achievement..... from then on, i was swinging left to right like a monkey..... trying to get use to swinging right out and catching the 'wave' of the boat to fly..... failed. flat on my face i go. ok, so i'm not such a wonderkid afterall. It's a good sport for outdoor-goers if you have the spare cash cuz it cost a whooping 80 bucks per hr!

hey, anybody going or contemplating on going, jiao me ok?
Laurine and I will be there...

btw, did i mention that Laurine rocks at Wakeboarding? Now you know! *tada!!!*

ahhh, it's a new year with a new cheer! =)

but what's new? nothing much. life goes on as usual......

started my first real job since monday. this week is orientation week.
paramedic level 1, starts next week for 5 weeks. then we should be doing a 3 week ERS course. then it's to the station for our OJT, for 6 mths.

gotta cultivate the habit of sleeping early now....... it sucks!
